About Valerie Abou Chacra

Valerie Abou Chacra is a multi-talented Lebanese actress whose captivating beauty is matched only by her remarkable on-screen prowess and vibrant charisma. With a background in communication arts from the Lebanese American University, she gained international recognition after being crowned Miss Lebanon in 2015, where she made history as the first Lebanese woman to reach the Top 5 at the Miss World competition.

She made her screen debut in the 2014 crime series TEN LITTLE SLAVES, which aired on MTV Lebanon and was inspired by Agatha Christie’s novel AND THEN THERE WERE NONE. In the series, she shared the screen with Rita Harb, Takla Chamoun, Brigitte Yaghi, and Carlos Azar.

In 2018, she starred alongside Syrian superstar Tim Hassan in Season 2 of AL HAYBA: AL AWDA, featuring screen legends like Nicole Saba, Mona Wassef, Rafik Ali Ahmad, and Abd El Magid Majzoub, under the direction of Samer Al Barkawi, with a story by Hozan Akko and a script by Bassem Salka.

A year later, Valerie earned widespread acclaim for her dynamic on-screen duo with Motasem Al-Nahar in the series MA FIYI, which continued into a second season. Her role in the series, written by Claudia Marshalian and directed by Rasha Sharbatji, cemented her place among the region’s most distinguished talents in Arab television.

Valerie then continued to take on compelling roles, headlining the thriller drama LA HUKM ALAYH (NOT GUILTY), which aired on Shahid in 2021, with Kosai Khauli.

Her most recent television work includes MEN…ELA, marking her second collaboration with Kosai Khauli, which was directed by Majdi Smiri and written by Bilal Shhadat and Farah Chia.

Beyond her acting achievements, Valerie hosted Project Runway on MBC—the Arabic adaptation of the iconic reality show, which focuses on fashion and design. The Arab edition featured legendary actress Youssra on the jury, with globally renowned designer Elie Saab as head judge. She also hosted the 2023 Joy Awards in Saudi Arabia.

Underscoring her dedication to growth and passion for the journey ahead, Valerie Abou Chacra continues to shine in an already impressive entertainment career that promises even more remarkable achievements on the horizon.
