New film Blood Line, starring Dhafer L'Abidine and Nelly Kareem, is now available on Shahid VIP. Marking the first Arab-speaking vampire horror, Blood Line releases on October 30.
After a traumatic accident, desperate parents to twin boys resort to a mysterious attempt to save the life of one of them who was left in a coma. However, this method pans out with supernatural results. The film is written and directed by Rami Yassin in his debut feature.
Dhafer L'Abidine's most recent works include Lebanese drama Aroos Beirut, which has released the second season on MBC4 in October, and The Eddy, which premiered on Netflix in May 2020, L'Abidine was also featured in the latest commercial campaign by Emerald Etisalat, which scored more than 10 million views in only two weeks on Facebook.
Before his sky-rocketing breakthrough in the Arab world, Dhafer enjoyed a successful career in the west appearing in international film productions, such as: Children of Men (2006), Sex and the City 2(2010), Centurion (2010), Black Forest (2012), and Rise of the Footsoldier (2007).
Recently, L'Abidine has been keen on appearing in TV dramas in the Arab world, the latest of which is Eugenie Nights (2018), which takes place in Cairo and Port Said in 1946. In 2017, he starred in the two successful TV dramas, Caramel and Halawat Al Dounia, for which he won the Murex D'or for Best Arab Actor in a TV series in 2018 in Beirut, Lebanon.
