After a string of impressive performances in leading roles in a number of television dramas, Nour El-Nabawy landed his first leading movie role in Raouf El-Sayed’s film EL HAREEFA, which was written by Eiad Saleh and produced by TVision Company.
Action-drama EL HAREEFA follows Maged — a football player who collides with his friends, who are professional football players from two classes: The upper class he once belonged to, and the lower class he has become part of due to his new circumstances.
Nour El-Nabawy co-stars with former professional footballer Ahmed Hossam Mido in his first appearance, Nour Ehab, Ahmed Ghozzi, Mahraganat singer Kozbara, Khaled Zahabi, and Selim El-Turk.
El-Nabawy has had incredible success in the realm of television drama, most recently with the social series RAGEEN YA HAWA, which was a smash hit during the Ramadan season of 2022.
The late renowned novelist Osama Anwar Okasha penned the series' story, Mohammed Soleiman Abdul-Malik adapted it for the screen, and Mohamed Salama helmed the project. The show also starred Khaled El-Nabawy, Nour, Salma Abu Deif, Anouchka, Wafaa Amer, Ahmed Bedier, and Hana Shiha.
Before that, he starred in the WATCH IT series PUBLIC TRANSPORT, in which he captured audiences’ attention when he portrayed Sayed — the son of a public bus driver, Am Ahmed (Mahmoud Hemida).
El-Nabawy went on to receive a lot of praise on his official social media accounts because his character represents a sizable portion of today's youths.
The series, which became a Twitter sensation, was directed by Adel Adeeb and written by Walid Khairy. It stared Samihah Ayyoob, Sawsan Badr, Dina, Mirhan Hussein, and Ahmed Bedier.
Most recently, El-Nabawy finished shooting the film 5 GAWLAT, which will soon be released in theatres. Directed by Mazen Ashraf and written by Mohamed Abdel Moaty, the film also stars Adam El-Sharkawy, Dalia Shawky, Maged El-Masry, and rap artist ARSENIK.
Additionally, El-Nabawy was named Best Young Actor at the 13th annual Arab Sat Festival.
His upcoming work includes the series EL AGHAR, which will be streaming this Ramadan. The series is being directed by Yasser Samy and written by Melok Workshop stars Amr Saad, Ahmed Magdy, Nahed El-Sebaei, Dorra, Sayed Ragab, and Sarah Salama.
Before becoming a professional actor, El-Nabawy attended Santa Monica College and California State University, Northridge in the US, performing in a number of plays at the university whenever he had the time to do so between his classes.
His career as an artist then began when he played the role of an officer who was killed in a terrorist attack one year after his graduation in THE CHOICE 2, stirring the hearts of Egyptian audiences with his compelling performance.
