Red Curtains Production has officially kicked off filming on JAD JADID, a fresh Saudi-Egyptian series blending star power and compelling storytelling, under the direction of Salma El Kashef, with support from the Saudi Cultural Fund and executive production by Kino Films .The series stars actors from Saudi Arabia and Egypt, including Amawri, Iconic Sawsan Badr, Adwa Bader, and May Elghety. It will be released soon.
The story centers on Youssef, who wakes up from a two-year coma only to face a shattered past, battling lost memories, guilt, and identity confusion. His journey to reclaim himself is supported by his wise grandmother and a circle of friends, each dealing with their own struggles.
The cast also includes Ali El Sabaa, first-time actor Khaled Ali, Mohsen Mohieddin, Amr Gamal, and Mohamed Alfie. The series is directed by Salma El Kashef, based on an idea by Amwari, written by Reem Al Kammash.
