Fady El-sayed Joins The Cast Of Netflix's Kaos

21 September 2023

British Egyptian actor Fady El-Sayed recently joined the cast of Netflix's upcoming Greek mythology dark comedy KAOS, which is set to air sometime in 2024.

Rounding out the cast is Daniel Lawrence Taylor as Theseus, David Thewlis as Hades, Debi Mazar as Medusa, and Jeff Goldblum as Zeus instead of Hugh Grant.

KAOS is a dark yet hilarious re-imagining of Greek mythology that is penned by Charlie Covell — a seasoned writer of the genre who previously wrote the highly successful Netflix dark comedy show THE END OF THE F***ING WORLD.

Fady El-Sayed is a British Egyptian actor who was born and raised in Islington, London, where he grew up playing football. Once he got into university, he studied a variety of fields, including media, drama, and psychology before making his first foray into acting with director Sally El-Hosaini in MY BROTHER THE DEVIL.

Since then, he's worked on several high-profile projects, including Matthew Heineman's A PRIVATE War and the 2016 sci-fi drama CLASS — a spin-off of the beloved and highly sensational British sci-fi series Dr. Who.

El-Sayed’s most successful year to date, however, was 2020, in which he worked on four projects — the TV dramas BAGHDAD CENTRAL, LITTLE BIRDS, and the second season of GANGS OF LONDON, as well as the drama short ENDING.
