Ziad is an Egyptian Lebanese actor who starred in the well-received film Dirty, Difficult, Dangerous, and the third season of Netflix's hit series EMILY IN PARIS, which was nominated for a Golden Globe and Primetime Emmy. He also appeared in the second season of the coming-of-age drama series, HANNA, which was nominated for multiple awards, including a Primetime Emmy, and was screened on Amazon.
On the big screen, Ziad starred in Chloé Mazlo's SKIES OF LEBANON, which was featured in several prestigious festivals across the world. SKIES OF LEBANON earned Mazlo a nomination for Best New Director at the 2021 San Francisco Film Festival and Best First Film at the 2022 Lumiere Awards in France. Moreover, it was selected to be screened in the International Critics' Week of the 2020 Cannes Film Festival.
Additionally, Jallad dipped his toes in Arab drama when he played the role of Karim in the first season of Mariam Abu Ouf’s LEH LAA?! starring Amina Khalil, Mohamed El-Sharnuby, Shereen Reda, and Hany Adel.
Ziad's latest work is Wissam Charaf's Lebanese drama DIRTY, DIFFICULT, DANGEROUS, which held its Arab premiere at the second session of the Red Sea International Film Festival and opened the 19th edition of the Giornate Degli Autori Competition at the 79th edition of the Venice International Film Festival, where it won the Best Film Award.
