Samer Bisharat is a Palestinian actor who made his appearance in Sari Bisharat's award-winning short film TORMUS when he was only 12 years old. Among his credits are numerous exceptional films and TV series, including the Oscar-nominated picture OMAR by award-winning filmmaker Hany Abu Assad, which garnered Abu Assad Cannes Film Festival's Un Certain Regard Jury Prize. Additionally, Samer was featured in THE AQUATIC EFFECT film by Sólveig Anspach and Jean-Luc Gaget, which was awarded the Directors' Fortnight award at Cannes Film Festival, DANS LE VIDE by director Mohamed Ben Attia, and LET IT BE MORNING, which was selected to compete at the Cannes’ Un Certain Regard section in 2021.
Samer's TV credits include the four-time Emmy-nominated series THE LOOMING TOWER, starring Jeff Daniels, THE STATE by Peter Kosminsky, and Scooter Downey’s TV show SECRET BELIEVERS..
Samer’s most recent works include Hany Abu Assad's HUDA'S SALON, which had its world debut at Toronto International Film Festival and its Arab premiere at the Red Sea International Film Festival, as well as Netflix’s original series LOVE, LIFE & EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN, which premiered in 2022. Moreover, he joined the cast of Basil Khalil’s action-packed drama A GAZA WEEKEND, which held its premiere at the 2022 Red International Film Festival.
