Reem Amer is a rising Egyptian actress whose compelling onscreen presence and emotional depth have established her as one of the most promising talents in contemporary Arab cinema and television. After honing her craft in theatrical performance, she made her screen debut in NESR EL SEEN (2022) before joining the acclaimed cast of LEH LA’A (Season 3), performing alongside industry veterans under the direction of Nadine Khan. Her mainstream breakout came during Ramadan 2025 with her portrayal of Walaa in FAHD EL BATAL, cementing her status as a sought-after leading talent.
Demonstrating exceptional artistic range, Amer further expanded her television repertoire that same year with key roles in Mai Mamdouh’s HESBET OMRY and Tamer Nady’s ensemble series SINGLE MOTHER FATHER, working alongside established actors including Reham Abdel Ghafour, Sherif Salama, Mohamed Kilany, and Hanady Mehanna.
Continuing her dynamic television presence into Ramadan 2026, Amer starred alongside Reham Hagag in TAWABEA, directed by Yehia Ismail and written by Mohamed Nayer, while securing a prominent role in the series DAFNINO SAWA under the direction of Mostafa Soly.
Amer’s artistic trajectory reached new international heights with her performance in AL BARANEYA, Dutch Egyptian writer and director Ashgan El-Hamus's debut feature. Serving as the film’s sole professional actor in a cast composed of non-professional performers, Amer delivered a grounded, transformative lead performance as Amal: a young pregnant woman navigating tradition and modernization in rural Egypt. The film celebrated its world premiere at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, marking Amer’s debut on the global festival stage.
Expanding her cinematic slate, she is set to star in the upcoming feature BASSET EL ADALAT, directed by Khaled Mansour, alongside Ahmed Malek and Michel Milad. Grounded in formal training and bold, character-led storytelling, Amer continues to build a versatile filmography bridging mainstream hits and internationally celebrated auteur cinema.
