Laila Abdallah is a Lebanese-Kuwaiti actress on the rise. With a following of over 5Mm, she is known for her extensive filmography, striking social media presence, budding music video career, and established theater work. No stranger to the camera, Laila got her start at the age of 14 with her unparalleled talent in the 2010 Ramadan hit Kuwaiti series SAHER AL LAIL, starring alongside a star-studded cast including Jassim Al-Nabhan, Hussein Al-Mansour, and Basma Hamada. Since then, her impressive list of works has exceeded 70 projects spanning television, cinema, and theater.
Laila became a distinctive face in Kuwaiti and Arab households during Ramadan, starring in seven series over just as many consecutive seasons, like TO HELL’S JOURNEY, CONFESSION, FROM AL HARAM STREET TO, and many others.
Her film credits are equally notable, with roles in the suspenseful 2015 flick APARTMENT SIX, 2017 thriller BABY, and 2018 comedy SHABAB SHIYAB. Beyond acting, Laila appeared in a hit music video for Saudi singer Abdul Majeed Abdullah, expanding her creative reach. In 2018, Laila starred in the award-winning comedy drama ON BORROWED TIME, which premiered at the Palm Springs International Film Festival in California to rave reviews before receiving an Audience Award at Rehoboth Beach and Best Film at Minneapolis St. Paul. In 2023, she took the world by storm yet again with the international TV series LONDON CLASS — a story set in the 80s, following a class of Arab students who move to the bustling city to further their studies — which went on to win Best Main Title at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards. That same year, she appeared in the widely popular hit Kuwaiti TV Series APRIL FOOLS. Looking ahead, 2025 will see Laila featured in the TV series OM ARBAA W ARBAEEN and ABER SABEEL, as well as the play ZAIN WHO KNOWS NO FEAR.
She is also set to appear in the upcoming film A GROOM AND TWO BRIDES and the series HAWAS.
