Moe Lattouf is a Syrian actor, writer, and casting director with a career spanning nearly 10 years.

Moe studied film directing in Lebanon and worked on several local and international projects as an acting coach and casting director. Known for his compelling performances, Lattouf has also made significant contributions to both television and film.

Before gaining acclaim as an actor, Lattouf worked as a casting director on two of Soudade Kaadan’s award-winning films; the feature film THE DAY I LOST MY SHADOW (2018) and the short film AZIZA (2019). He also worked as a casting director on the feature film THE TRANSLATOR (2020) by directors Rana Kazkaz and Anas Khalaf.

Lattouf then came into prominence as an actor for his role as Bilal Sheikh El Jabal in Taim Hassan’s AL HAYBA: AL HASSAAD (2019), AL HAYBA: AL RAD (2020), and Shahid’s AL HAYBA: JABAL (2021).

His magnum opus however is Ashley Pearce’s Shahid Original series FLIGHT 422 (2023), the series was based on true events and features an elite cast from across the region.

Lattouf’s previous works include the mini-series UNDOCUMENTED: BIDUNE KAID (2017), as well as Kamla Abouzekri’s Ramadan 2022 series BETLOO EL ROOH (2022). He also appeared alongside Lebanese actress Yumna Marwan in the short film THE INCIDENT in 2017.

When it comes to film, Moe Lattouf has been involved in several noteworthy projects, the actor both appeared in and took part in writing Jimmy Keyrouz’s BROKEN KEYS (2021), which world premiered at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival and was Lebanon’s official submission for the Academy Awards’ Best International Feature Film. He also starred in Anna Fahr’s award-winning feature VALLEY OF EXILE (2023), which sheds light on the lives of Syrian refugees in the Lebanese Bekaa Valley during the Syrian war.

As for Lattouf’s latest, the actor is starring in Nadim Tabet’s upcoming romance thriller IN THIS DARKNESS I SEE YOU, which recently won two awards at the Venice Film Festival’s Final Cut program.
