Jayda Mansour is an incredibly talented and successful Egyptian actress whose passion for the film industry has been evident since an early age.

Driven by her love for acting, alongside her university education in media and translation, she joined acting workshops, including those at Luke Lehner Studios, where she learned from some of the best mentors in the field. She then collaborated with Ramzi Liner in the Irtigalia troupe, Egypt's premier improvisational theater group and gave acting improvisation classes for kids and teenagers.

Her acting career kicked off when she was cast in the third season of Nadine Khan’s LEIH LAA?!, where she shared the screen with renowned actress Nelly Karim, playing the role of her son’s college friend. The audience’s warm reception of her character instilled in her the confidence to pursue her passion with renewed determination and emboldened her resolve to make it in the industry.

Jayda then made her silver screen debut in MEEN YESADAQ, in which she played Nadine — a sheltered girl from an affluent family whose isolated and uneventful life takes a turn to the exciting when she crosses paths with an accomplished con artist. Co-starring Youssef Omar, Sherif Mounir, Ashraf Abdelbaki, and Arfah Abdulrasool, the film was directed by Zeina Ashraf Abdel Baki and screened at the 45th Cairo International Film Festival to tremendous acclaim.

Jayda also delivered a memorable performance in Shereen Adel’s TETA ZUZU, starring alongside Isaad Youni and Mahmoud El Bezzawy.

In terms of her future projects, she is currently busy shooting the highly anticipated Ramadan series ATHENA alongside Riham Hagag, Salwa Mohamed Ali, Ali El Sabaa and Ahmed Magdy, all under the helm of Yahya Ismail and the penmanship of Mohamed Nayer.
