Rising Egyptian actress Gehad Hossam El Din has proven in her 15 films and TV series so far that she is undeniably a prolific actress with talent that transcends boundaries, as evident in her collaboration with an array of directors who are currently making waves in the entertainment scene, including Hani Khalifa, Hadi El Bagoury, Amr Salama, Karim El Shenawy, Nadine Khan and Mariam Abu Ouf.
Gehad caught the audience's attention with her role in the second season of the wildly successful TV series WHY NOT?!, where she delivered a standout performance as she shared the screen with one of the most recognized, admired, and sought-after Arab actresses, Menna Shalaby.
Continuing to shine more and more in every role she took afterward, she went on to make numerous outstanding appearances in several blockbusters, including SHAMAREEKH, FARQ KHIBRAH, and RAS EL SANA.
In parallel to her cinematic appearances, she also set the small screens ablaze with her roles in several hit series, like QABEEL, ROOM 207, HIKAYAT GROUP AL EILA, BEIN EL SOTOUR, and ELA AL TALAQ.
She also took on a jaw-dropping role in Shahid’s original series SAFAH EL GIZA, in which she played the role of a cold-hearted mother who relentlessly kills her husband in front of her child, prompting him to one day become a serial killer.
Television audiences also fell in love with her during her standout appearances in the two 2024 Ramadan season hit shows BEDOUN SABQ INZAR and TARIQ EGBARY.
In terms of Gehad’s future projects, she is currently awaiting the release of her films HAPPY BIRTHDAY, featuring A-list star Nelly Karim, and the commercial release of SEEKING HAVEN FOR MR. RAMBO, which world premiered to astounding success at the Venice International Film Festival.
Beyond her acting career, Gehad also co-produced the French-Egyptian film THE GOAT by the Italian director Ilaria Borreli. Produced by Dominique Pinault and Islam El-Dakhakhny, the film won numerous awards and brought together a stellar cast, including Mira Sorvino, John Savage, Amr Saad, and Sayed Ragab.
Adding to that, Gehad’s talent doesn’t stop at acting or producing; she is also a dance and movement enthusiast and singer who is well-known for the opening credits theme song for the Shahid series BATN EL HOUT along with three other songs throughout the show.
