Be it for her enigmatic charisma or impeccable acting talent, Egyptian actress Enjy Kiwan quickly stole the spotlight when she first popped onto the acting scene, bringing magic and depth to every role she has taken on since.
Her first breakthrough came with her role in the 2021 comedy anthology series SITTAT BAYT AL MA'ADI (WOMEN'S MAADI HOUSE), the Arabic adaptation of the popular American show WHY WOMEN KILL, which garnered impressive viewership on Shahid.
That same year, she took on another captivating role in Wael Farag’s OSN original quirky comedy series ALWADE MUSTAQIR (NO ACTIVITY), featuring the comedy duo Shadi Alfons and Khalid Mansour, stars of the popular TV show Saturday Night Live Arabia. Due to the tremendous success of its first season, the series was renewed for another season, where Kiwan reprised her role as Nardine, an intern trying to learn from the oldest employee in the department.
Continuing her successful streak, she starred in Shahid's romantic musical series MAGNOUNA BEEK (CRAZY ABOUT YOU), by Joe Bou Eid, alongside Egyptian-British actor Amir El Masry, who won a Scottish BAFTA for his performance in the film LIMBO and was nominated for a British Independent Film Award.
She then turned heads with her memorable performance in the romantic drama ALFREDO, starring the veteran actress Elham Shahin and Ahmed Fahmi, where she played an advertising expert who falls for one of her clients.
She also left quite an impression as a guest star in the second season of Tima Shomali’s Netflix original hit series AL RAWABI SCHOOL FOR GIRLS, in which she portrayed a perfectionist mother whose obsession leads her daughter to develop an eating disorder.
Kirwan's career reached new heights when she transitioned to global stardom, cast as an Italian cop in the American/Italian action thriller film PARADOX EFFECT, by the Emmy-nominated director Scott Weintrob, alongside American actors Harvey Keitel, Talia Asseraf, and Meredith Mickelson, as well as French-Ukrainian actress Olga Kurylenko.
Most recently, she starred during the last Ramadan season in two series. The first, W TEQABEL HABIB, features beloved A-listers Yasmine Abdelaziz and Karim Fahmy, directed by Mohamed Hamdy El Khabeeri. The script is penned by Amr Mahmoud Yassin, with Synergy Films producing the series. The second, SEED EL NAS, stars her alongside Amr Saad, under the direction of the acclaimed Mohamed Samy and produced by Sadek Sabbah, with a script crafted by Mohamed Samy and Khaled Salah.
She also made a guest appearance in the sports comedy film EL HARIFA 2: EL REMONTADA, starring Nour El-Nabawy, Nour Ehab, Ahmed Ghozzy, Kozbara, and many more. The series is written by Eiad Saleh, directed by Kareem Saad, and produced by Tvision (Tarek El-Ganainy).
In terms of her future projects, she is awaiting the release of her romantic film FI AL QALB (IN THE HEART), where she stars opposite singer/actor Khaled Selim and Syrian-Palestinian-Algerian actress Nesreen Tafesh.
Kiwan’s success story goes beyond acting; she is also a social media sensation, MC, presenter, and model, continuing to break barriers with her unwavering dedication and resilience in the creative industry.
