Biography
Rana Abu Rish is a passionate scriptwriter who has been active in the industry since 2015. In 2017, she joined renowned writer Tamer Habib’s writers’ room for the hit Ramadan series LA TOTFE’ EL SHAMS. She then contributed to the writing and development of the series KA’ENO EMBAREH as part of Mariam Naoum’s team. Since then, Rana has participated in several other projects within various writers’ rooms and teams.
Her breakthrough came with the immensely popular Ramadan series KAMEL EL ADAD (Seasons 1 and 2)— which she co-wrote with Yosr Taher — the third season of which aired in the Ramadan 2025 season, with Dina El Sherbiny and Sherif Salama reprising their roles. Rana also wrote SEEB W ANA ASEEB, which she developed as the sole writer. She is now working on various exciting projects at different stages of development and production.
