About Büşra Develi
A rising force in the Turkish entertainment scene, actress Büşra Develi has earned admiration across the Arab World for her elegance and powerful screen presence.
After graduating from the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Theater Department, she made her acting debut in 2015 with the Turkish remake of the popular American psychological thriller PRETTY LITTLE LIARS.
Her talent quickly drew attention, and she gained wider recognition in the romantic comedy series TATLI İNTİKAM (SWEET REVENGE). Her breakthrough, however, came with the psychological drama FI, Turkiye’s first web series. Adapted from Azra Kohen’s bestselling trilogy, the show became a cultural phenomenon, blending action and romance in a gripping narrative. It attracted massive audiences in both Turkiye and the Arab World, firmly establishing Develi’s versatility as an actress.
Building on this success, her career expanded into historical and action dramas. In 2018, she starred in MEHMED: THE CONQUEROR, alongside Kenan İmirzalıoğlu as Sultan Mehmed II. Later, she took on a leading role opposite Şükrü Özyıldız in AKINCI (2021), an action-adventure series about a modern-day hero inspired by Ottoman history. In this production, she played a determined journalist investigating the vigilante’s identity.
She further diversified her roles with the romantic comedy web series ERKEK SEVERSE (IF A MAN LOVES), which premiered on beIN CONNECT. Most recently, she appeared in the Netflix original Turkish series THE TOWN and in HELM ASHRAF on Shahid, both standout productions of 2025 that captured wide attention in Turkiye and the Arab World.
Beyond television, Develi has also made her mark in cinema. She starred in AYLA: THE DAUGHTER OF WAR (2017), a moving historical drama that touched international and Arab audiences with its themes of war, compassion, and resilience. The film won numerous awards, including Audience Awards at the Palm Springs International Film Festival and the Asian World Film Festival.
She continued to expand her film career with COME ON MY SON (2018), ARADA (2018), and KARAKOMIK FILMLER: DELI (2020), each project reinforcing her reputation as a versatile and committed actress.
