Prominent Egyptian script writer Tamer Habib has drawn attention to his work since his earliest film Sleepless Nights (Sahar El Layaly) in 2003. A year later, his film Girls' Love (Hob El Banat) made his distinguished talent even more widely recognized. In addition to that, he wrote more eminent films: most notably, An el ashq wel hawa (2006), Taymour and Shafika (2007) and Wahed Saheh (2011). Tamer also wrote a number of Egyptian TV series that gained wide popularity; first of which was Khas Gedan (2009), featuring superstar Yousra, followed by Sharbat Loz (2012), Tareeqy (2015), Grand Hotel (2016) and La Totfe' Al Shams (2017).

Most recently, Habib has joined Lail Dakhly on NRJEgypt FM 92.1FM, which is shared as well by Haytham Dabor and Mohammed Suleiman Abdul Malik. The radio program features the impact of the film and TV industry on the audience. Furthermore, his ongoing screenwriting projects are Anf w Thalath Oyoun film staring Khaled Elsawy, based on Ihsan Abdel Quddous'novel, along with the TV series The Game of Forgetting starring Dina ElSherbiny, set to screen during Ramadan season 2020.
