After recording the highest viewership rates during the airing of its first installment back in September 2019, Aroos Beirut releases the second season headlined by Dhafer L'Abidine alongside an A-list of pan-Arab cast. The TV drama is slated to air on MBC4 as of Sunday, October 11.

The trailer features a series of random incidents; romantic scenes between Fares and his loving wife Thorayah, an intimate relationship between Laila Daher and her former lover Adel Aboud, hysterical crying by Fares's son for an unknown reason, and a tense clash between Dhafer and an anonymous character.
Commenting on this, Dhafer L'Abidine stated, "I'm excited to see how the audiences would react to the new events of Aroos Beirut Season2. I am proud to be part of it and am hopeful that the second season of the show be as successful as Aroos Beirut 1. Personally, I think the audiences would be highly engaged with this surprise-packed season that witnesses the joining of a line of A-list stars."
Written by Nadine Gaber and directed by Emre Kabakusk, Aroos Beirut is based on the Turkish drama, Bride of Istanbul. The TV drama is headlined by Dhafer L'Abidine, alongside a Pan-Arab cast, featuring: Carmen Bsaibes, Takla Chamoun, and Fady Ibrahim, who are joined by Rita Harb in the second installment.
Recently, Dhafer L'Abidine stars in The Eddy, which premiered on Netflix in May 2020, where L'Abidine is featured in two episodes, playing the character of Sami bin Milad. The Eddy is directed by Alain Poul, and has been nominated for seven Emmy Awards. L'Abidine was also featured in the latest commercial campaign by Emerald Etisalat, which scored more than 10 million views in only two weeks on Facebook.
Before his sky-rocketing breakthrough in the Arab world, Dhafer enjoyed a successful career in the west appearing in international film productions, such as Children of Men (2006), Sex and the City 2(2010), Centurion (2010), Black Forest (2012), and Rise of the Footsoldier (2007).
Recently, L'Abidine has been keen on appearing in TV dramas in the Arab world, the latest of which is Eugenie Nights (2018), which takes place in Cairo and Port Said in 1946. In 2017, he starred in the two successful TV dramas, Caramel and Halawat Al Dounia, for which he won the Murex D'or for Best Arab Actor in a TV series in 2018 in Beirut, Lebanon.
