Biography 
Mayan El Sayed is a rising star whose exceptional talent placed her name among the most sought-after young actresses by key directors and stars. This is evidenced by her remarkable presence in three TV hits during Ramadan 2021; HAJMA MURTADA (Counterattack) by director Ahmad Alaa Aldeeb; starring Ahmed Ezz and Hend Sabry, LE’BET NEWTON (Newton’s Cradle); by Tamer Mohsen and starring Mona Zaki, and HARB AHLIYA (Civil War) by director Sameh Abd El-Aziz; starring Youssra, as well as her new film ALMAHKAMA (The Court) by director Mohamed Amin, starring Mahmoud Abdel Moghny. In 2022, She was the leading actress in THE DREAM OF MY LIFE story within the ELLA ANA series.
Mayan made her first foray into acting through several TV series in 2016, including ABU AL-BANAT and AL-MOGHANY, and maintained her presence within the industry through EL AB EL ROHI, ZEL EL RAEES, FEKRA B’MILLION GENEH, and Viu's first original, ZODIAC, as well as KAENO EMBAREH that marks an important milestone in her career. She also starred in the box-office hit HARB KARMOOZ in 2018.
Mayan was stunning in a photo shoot for Elle Arabia magazine and received the Dear Guest Award for Best Young Actress for her memorable roles in the 3 TV hits aired last Ramadan. Mayan was appointed as Molped's new brand ambassador in Egypt. She was also part of the closing song for the 5th edition of El Gouna Film Festiva, 202l.
Mayan recently starred in the romantic film #GAWWEZNI alongside Amir El-Masry, which was directed by Essam Nassar and written by Mohamed Samir Mabrouk.
In the 2023 Ramadan season, she starred alongside Yousra in 1000 HAMDELLAH A’LA EL SALAMA, which was written by Mahmoud Zulfikar and directed by Amr Salah.
Mayan was recently selected as a brand ambassador for Garnier in the Middle East.
Recently, Mayan won the Favorite Actress Award at Nickelodeon Arabia and graced the cover of the Autumn Issue of Cosmopolitan Middle East, showcasing her undeniable charm in the fashion and entertainment industry.
Mayan graduated with a major in theater and film from the American University in Cairo (AUC) with her own graduation project, in which she embodied the leading role as Antigone — one of the heroines of ancient Greek mythology — in which she tried to ensure that her performance is balanced between drama and comedy.
Mayan also recently starred as the troubled youth Maddy in Mohamed Salama’s Ramadan 2024 series EMBRATOREYET MEEM opposite Khaled and Nour El Nabawy.
Mayan is currently shooting her new film WA LANA FI AL-KHAYAL HOB alongside Ahmed El-Sa’dany and Omar Rozik; the romance feature is Sarah Rozik’s directorial debut.
Mayan El Sayed's latest work includes the film "BADAA SAAT FI YAWMAN MA" (FEW HOURS IN ONE DAY) (2024), based on Mohamed Sadek’s novel and produced by El-Sobky Productions. Additionally, she starred in the film NOGOUM EL SAHEL (2025). She is also featured in the 2024 TV series SA3TO W TAREEKHO and in the 2025 TV series NOS EL SHAAB ESMO MOHAMED, which aired during Ramadan
The actress was also among the thirty young artists selected for Forbes Middle East’s Digital Stars Under 30 for 2024.
