Biography
After graduating from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Beirut, Nour started modeling in TV ads until she made her acting debut in 2000 opposite Egyptian superstar Ahmed El Sakka in the film Short w Fanelah w Cap. The film was a massive success and Nour caught the eyes of the audience and filmmakers as well. The following year, Nour starred in Ashab Wala Business (2001) with Hani Salama, whom she reunited with two years later in the film Izzay Tekhalli El-Banat Tehibbak (2003).
In 2004, Nour starred in Okal alongside Egyptian actor Mohammed Saad and Kamla Abouzekri’s Sana Oula Nasb with Ahmed Ezz. In the following year, Nour starred opposite Ahmed Ezz again in the 2005’s hit Mallaki Iskandariya that marked her first collaboration with director Sandra Nashaat before Al Rahina (2006) where Nour played the role of a sociopathic villain.
Nour also made a great duo with Egyptian comedian Ahmed Helmy. She starred alongside Helmy in two films in 2006; Matab Sena'y and Zarf Tarek. Nour’s acting credits also include many other successful titles, like 30 Years Ago (2016) and Tisbah Ala Khair (2017). Nour became a member of the Egyptian Syndicate of Artists headed by Egyptian actor Ashraf Zaki.
Her small screen repertoire includes many TV hits, such as Al-Ameel 1001 (2005), Domooa Al-Kamar (2008), Ganat Iblis (2009), Saraya Abdeen (2014), El-Excellance (2014), and Rahim (2018) for which she received the Best Actress Award at the Arab Satellite Channels Festival. Nour also took part in the play Teheb Teshouf Ma’sah in 2002, and starred in several radio series, including Gharam Ala El Instagram (2015) with Ahmed Ezz.
In Ramadan 2020, Nour starred in the TV series El Prince opposite Mohamed Ramadan. Written and directed by Mohamed Samy, the TV drama was a huge success, ranking as one of the most watched TV hits. Her latest works include the new TV drama Gamal El Hareem by director Manal El Seify.
Currently she is preparing for a few projects including the new serial drama, Del Ragel, which is slated to release in Ramadan 2021, marking her second collaboration with Egyptian star Yasser Galal. In addition, she will take part in the upcoming drama Omar Al Nagy: Harb Torwada. Written and directed by Peter Mimi, the TV series marks a first-time collaboration between Amir Karara and Nour.
