About Lina Sophia

An Egyptian-Moroccan-French young actress who is fluent in Arabic, French, English, and Spanish. She is extremely passionate about the cinematic, theatrical, and television arts. She has been known for her roles in many successful projects by big directors since she was a child, including HEPTA: THE LAST LECTURE, which had the highest revenues for an Egyptian romantic film in 2017. The film HEPTA is based on Mohamed Sadek's best-selling novel of the same name. Amr Youssef, Yasmine Raeis, Maged El Kedwany, Ahmed Dawood, Ahmed Malek, and Dina El Sherbiny star in the film, which was written by Wael Hamdy and directed by Hadi El Bagoury.

In addition to films, she has appeared in several hit TV shows, including LATER TONIGHT, which was a smash hit during the 2017 Ramadan season. Tamer Mohsen's LATER TONIGHT stars Eyad Nassar, Arwa Gouda, Hanan Motawie, Mohamed Farag, Ahmed Dawood, and Asma Abulyazeid. She also appeared in the TV series FAMILY SIZE, directed by Hala Khalil and written by Mohamed Raga'a, alongside veteran actors Yehia El-Fakharany and Mervat Amin. She also co-starred with Khaled El Nabawy in the TV series THE AFFAIR, directed by Amir Ramses and written by Mohamed El Hag, as well as 45 RULES OF DIVORCE, directed by Mostafa Abou Seif and written by Sara Mourad.

Lina also went global when she was cast in the thriller film STORY by French-Moroccan director Jérôme Cohen-Olivar, in which she acted in French. Oliver's film KANDISHA won numerous awards at international film festivals, including the Bangkok Film Festival, the Brussels International Film Festival, and the Amsterdam Fantastic Film Festival.

Lina's film STORY is about a well-known influencer whose life was perfect until she received a gift from an unknown fan. Her gift contained a message that stated she only had three months to live.
