Hagar ElSarrag

A Syrian actress, Hagar ElSarrag  has blasted onto the scene in the 2022 Ramadan hit Betlou’ Al-Rouh’, where she stars as the wife of the ISIS leader Omar Al Desouky, played by Ahmed Elsaadany, in Syrian city Ar Raqqah. Hagar gave a striking performance in the series, playing a naive, yet rebellious woman. She clandestinely does things forbidden for ISIS women, such as smoking, going to the salon, and wearing makeup. However, she is fascinated with her world in Ar Raqqah, and her ISIS leader husband who has authority over this terrorist. The series is currently screening on MBC and ShahidVIP. It is directed by Kamla Abou Zekry, written by Mohamed Hesham Obayya, and stars Menna Shalaby.


Suhaib Nashwan

A Jordanian actor who drew the attention locally and internationally through his role in Amira, by director Mohamed Diab, which joined the 78th edition of Venice International Film Festival, reaping 3 awards at its Orizzonti competition; Lanterna Magica Award, presented by Cinecircoli Giovanili Socioculturali (CGS), Enrico Fulchignoni Award, presented by Conseil International du Cinéma, de la Télévision et de la Communication Audiovisuelle (CICT-UNESCO), and 10th INTERFILM Award for Promoting Interreligious Dialogue. In the film, which was also screened at the 5th El Gouna Film Festival, Suhaib plays the role of Ziad who helps his lover find her identity, backing her up in each and every step.
